Our 2023 Art Show Judge
JAN WILKEN, LWS, NOAA
With studios in Harman, LA and Foley AL, Jan enjoys painting portraits of people, places and things in watercolor and acrylic. She is a Lifetime Signature Member of the New Orleans Art Association and the Louisiana Watercolor Society, winning numerous awards over the past 35 years. Jan enjoys sharing her art by teaching workshops and recently developed a new spin on watercolor on Japanese Rice Paper using the wax resist method of traditional Batik. Since 2016, as a Live Event Painter, Jan creates acrylic paintings for couples to cherish of their first dance as husband and wife.
She has had the honor of conducting art workshops and judging art competitions in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Please ver her art at https://janwilken.com
